Mark and Zach on Guitar and Vox, Sarah on Drums and Vox

I asked Sarah if she would play drums in Eggman in spring 2018. We had a full summer of shows booked with Mallwalker so I booked a few eggman shows as overflow with only a few demos and ideas at that point.

Our motto was "We'll figure it out" because neither of us really knew what we were doing. Sarah had never played drums before so we went with a standup 2-piece setup and she dove right in playing along to the short songs and ideas I had come up with on guitar.

Always gung-ho and optimistic about doing eggman sets Sarah was the perfect bandmate for a nervous cynical new songwriter like myself. She was a quick learner on the drums and always played what felt like naturally the best option for a song.

We added Mark on lead guitar in early 2020 and I was psyched at how well the songs filled out and transformed with his additions. I had hoped to get back into regular shows and practices and recording after Covid but lots of life events slowed that process. Now with Sarah's passing it felt important to get these songs out into the world regardless of their imperfections.

Thanks to everyone who booked us or spread the word. Please play this loud and think of the good times you had with Sarah, I know I will be.
